MotiveSpace / CON COR
Sara Garrett is a native North Portlander, with a diverse background in environmental physics, systems science, and architecture. Sara originally began the motiveSpace project as an exhibition – the project was intended to synthesize interviews with local developers and neighbors throughout Portland, clarifying the potentials and limitations of grassroots, bottom-up community development. The Coalition is now a diverse group of over 40+ members including groups such as the National Charrette Institute, the Office of Neighborhood Involvement, Recode Portland, Daybreak Cohousing, and many others – coming together to stand for progressive development and design in Portland.
Originally from Detroit, MI, Gabriel Matthews has worked across the country with various organizations and top brand category leaders to facilitate retail merchandising and industrial design needs.
